AUTOMATION ENGINEER / CONTROL SYSTEMS

AUTOM TECHNOLOGIES is a technical engineering firm specialised in industrial automation and industrial IT, based in Marseille (France). We support our clients partially or fully through the phases of requirements definition, study, design and implementation of control systems, as well as in the development, qualification and deployment of technical solutions.

As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for an Automation Engineer / Control Systems to strengthen our team.

Missions

• Write technical and functional specifications.
• Participate in the consultation and selection of technical solutions.
• Monitor the project schedule and ensure quality, cost and deadline objectives are met.
• Lead progress meetings with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Carry out the management, programming and development of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.

Profile sought

• With a technical background in automation, control systems or industrial IT (Master’s degree or equivalent), you have significant first experience in the industrial field.
• Excellent command of French and good level of professional English.
• Mastery of industrial programming languages for PLC and HMI (Ladder, Instruction List, Structured Text, SFC, etc.).
• Good command of the following tools and environments:

• Automation: Siemens TIA Portal, STEP 7, Micro/WIN; Schneider Unity Pro, PL7 Pro, EcoStruxure, WAGO (CodeSys) etc.
• SCADA: Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, WinCC, Vijeo Designer, etc.
• Databases and development: SQL, Python, C, etc.

• Curious, rigorous and open-minded, you appreciate teamwork and demonstrate a strong ability to adapt.
• You are passionate about new technologies and keep up to date with developments in the sector.
